Internal Operations Manual – Skyhawk

The Skyhawk is the trainer in use at our flight school and flies between KGDM and 1M8. Here are procedures to ensure we get the most out of it.

  1. Refueling – do not load more than 15 gallons into the plane. The plane only consumes 6 gallons and only needs reserves of about 3 gallons flying at best endurance speed.
  2. Cruise – 3000ft, at engine redline. If the Caravan cost peanuts then the Skyhawk costs tiny little hamster nuts to run, the goal is to fly as fast as you can!
  3. Payload – every flight must be loaded with as many students and packages as are available.
